At the Milano AutoClassica car show held in November 2022, representatives of theAutomotoclub Storico Italiano i.e. the Italian Historical Car and Motorbike Club, awarded the ASI Plaque to Mirco Risi.

In the image Mirco Risi, brother of Franci Risi and president of"Macchina a Vapore Museo Franco Risi", collects the plaque dedicated to the Museum/Collection as recognition of its commitment to the conservation of historical vehicles.

The Vespa Club Ferrara organised a special visit to our museum "Macchina a Vapore Museo Franco Risi".

On a warm and sunny day, the tour aroused the interest and curiosity of all those who did not know or had never had the opportunity to admire the large locomotives and locomotives up close.

The skilful descriptions and explanations offered to visitors by our guides aroused various questions and an important involvement of all, and there were really many, visitors.

The visit, which was in fact a real gathering complete with a stand for refreshments, offered a spectacular parade of "Vespe" of infinite models and equipment.

The famous mopeds were equipped and personalized in a thousand different versions; the different colors and the large number of specimens offered the spectacle of a beautiful "snake" both on arrival and on the restart...

As has been the case for some years now, on the last weekend of September the Orestein Koppel Locomotive was exhibited at the well-known Hobby Model Expo, which is held in the stunning park of Novegro in Milan, near Linate airport.
On this occasion, a section of track was placed on the ground long enough to allow the locomotive to travel a short distance and visitors at the park were able to get on board.  

The Museum gets a makeover. The museum celebrated its New Opening on 3 July 2021 at 5 pm: it now has a brand new and more engaging exhibit layout with renovated spaces.

As part of the event organised by the Dairy Caretti in San Giovanni in Persiceto the Museo del Vapore will be open on both days in order to allow the many people who will want to see the machines on display during the dairy festival to visit it..
